Welcome! My name is Kayla J. I am a Baltimore, MD native who has a passion for travel. My real life responsibilities include working in the conservation sector and spending lots of time with my Yorkshire Terrier. I experienced my first flight in 2014 for a short trip to Tampa, FL. A few years later, I travelled to Costa Rica where I lived for three months working as a tropical biology undergraduate researcher. This experience led to my desire of seeing the world. I fell in love with exploring and learning about culture, food, history, art, and more. As of today, I’ve visited destinations across the United States, Caribbean, Central America, Europe, and Middle East. I started developing detailed itineraries for my family and personal travel and thought, “I enjoy this! Why not use my passion to help others?” and naturally .. Away with K was born.
